Personally when I made these small changes, I started seeing big impacts and I want to share some of the small changes with you all which can help you to start seeing some big changes too.
Changes to My Diet
First small change I would want to talk about is my diet. Without sacrificing all my favourite foods completely, I started making small changes to them. It helped me diet and maintain my physique while still eating my favourite foods. I did this changes to my breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and eventually I fell in love with my diet.
I am listing some of the changes below and I hope, you all will find this info useful and start doing these small changes like I did and still maintain a healthy lifestyle.
1. Healthy French Toast for breakfast
I love to eat pancakes or french toasts with chocolate/maple syrup which is filled with lot of calories and mostly sugars.When I started dieting somehow I still had craving for pancakes and french toasts and yeah guess what, I still eat 6 slices of french toast everyday for my breakfast, but with small changes and let me tell you how?
- Main ingredient in a french toast is egg and I started using only egg white and avoided the yellow.
- Almond milk instead of whole milk
- Replace regular sugar with coconut sugar
- Very hard to give up on the maple syrup so I started using the low calorie alternative to the regular syrup.
2. Tasty Shawarma and Tomato Salad for Lunch
I love Shawarma’s but came to know they are calorie rich so I started to work on the changes to make it calorie friendly but at the same time not make it less tasty. Here are the few changes I have done to my Shawarma,
I replaced Mayo with a healthy Yogurt Sauce. I made my own yogurt sauce with healthy ingredients like Greek Yogurt and Fresh Cucumber. We just need to mix the below, which are available in every Indian kitchen, to make a good healthy yogurt sauce.
- 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 fresh cucumber
- 1 Garlic Clove Fresh or dry
- Mint
- Lime Juice
- Salt & Pepper
A side of tomato salad is a great way to enjoy your shawarma. I mix the below to make a good tomato salad.
- 1 Tomato
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Salt & Pepper

Staying Active
Another small change you can do that can make a big impact is staying active, instead of sitting on the sofa not doing anything, walk for sometime and walking is an amazing way for staying active and these are two creators who influenced not only me but a lot of other people- Mike Thurston and Mario Tomic
These two videos by both the fitness influencers explain how walking got them lean and how it helped them maintain their physique, so you guys can too walk 30 mins- 1 hr everyday and it will benefit you very well.
